The volume show command displays, at minimum, the following information:
Virtual server name
Volume name
Aggregate name
State (online, offline, or restricted)
Type (RW for read-write, LS for a load-sharing mirror, DR for a disaster-recovery mirror)
Size
Available size
Percentage of space used
Other information is displayed in a detailed view and if other parameters are specified. See the reference page for the command for details.
The following example displays general information about volumes named dept*:
